[e]XR Fire Extinguisher P.A.S.S. Training
This video is taken from a trainee’s perspective in an HTC Vive headset. Within the experience, the user will learn the fundamental components of a fire extinguisher and be responsible for putting out an incipient flame in a realistic environment.
This video demonstrates the supplemental eLearning course and augmented reality application that tie in with the virtual reality training. These tools reinforce the learning so that the user is both prepared and knowledgeable of how to fight fires when they occur.
Additional Examples of Our Work
Residential Walking Gas Leak Survey in VR
We created a virtual reality experience where users walk through a residential neighborhood searching for gas leaks. To perform a residential neighborhood leak survey, one must use a flame ionization unit to detect abnormal operating conditions (AOCs). This was created by merging real life footage of the user with their view inside the VR headset.
Nuclear Plant Tour – Mobile AR/VR Application
This mobile application allows new hires at a nuclear plant to familiarize themselves with various parts of a site and their purpose. After selecting a segment of the plant in AR, the user can switch to VR mode to place themselves in that part of the facility.
Nuclear Plant Tour – VR Walkthrough
This virtual reality onboarding experience allows trainees to navigate a site and familiarize themselves with equipment and safety practices. This was created by merging real life footage of the user with their view inside the VR headset.
